–Or, set the mood with a record on the retro vinyl record player (also equipped with USB and Bluetooth connections!)

KITCHEN
–The fully equipped kitchen is prepared to handle all your home-cooking needs. Essential appliances and ample counter space allow you to create meals of any size.
–Stainless steel kitchen appliances, including an oven with built-in air fryer, and fridge with icemaker and water pitcher.
–A 4-person kitchen dining table (6-person table in the sunroom) where you can start your day with a fresh cup of coffee from our local favorite, Mudita Coffeehouse, just one block away or enjoy a delicious home cooked meal or carryout from Carmen’s across the street, home of Norfolk’s best pupusas.
–Kitchen amenities include Keurig single cup or pot drip coffee maker, toaster, microwave, Mudita provided coffee, electric water kettle, sugar, creamer, salt, pepper, cooking spray, French press, milk frother, Ninja blender, and glass cake or dessert stand for special occasions.

SUNROOM
–Off the back of the kitchen, enter the beloved sunroom with a cozy seating area and 6-person dining table for dinners, puzzles, or game night.
–NOTE: The sunroom has a dedicated AC/Heater that can be turned on upon arrival and will cool or heat the space quickly. The unit may not be turned on prior to arrival.
–The sunroom also has yoga mats for morning sun salutations on the deck.

BEDROOMS
All bed have 100% cotton bed sheets, down alternative pillows, and memory foam mattresses for a cozy restful slumber. All bedrooms are equipped with two luggage stands.

1st Bedroom: 1x Queen bed
The primary bedroom suite at the front of the house includes a queen bed, blackout curtains, a bathroom, walk-in closet, and dedicated work space with chair, sit/stand desk, spare monitor for remote work needs.
NOTE: There may be noise in this bedroom from street at the front of the house. The bedroom is equipped with thick curtains and a white noise machine for lighter sleepers.

2nd Bedroom: 1x Queen bed
The second bedroom is also equipped with a queen bed and blackout curtains.

3rd Bedroom: a trundle daybed with 2x XL twin beds
The third bedroom has an XL twin trundle daybed. The trundle rolls out easily and detaches completely from the daybed to allow the beds to be arranged apart from one another to allow easier access to both beds. This bedroom also has a 43-inch Smart TV to allow kids or guests to enjoy a movie or show separate from the main living area.

Sleeping Capacity:
Please note the home can accommodate up to a total of 6 people (adults and children). Norfolk City requires no more than 2 guests per bedroom. We would not like to jeopardize our permit so please no more than 6 guests.

DECK
There are two vintage sun loungers with side table to catch some rays or enjoy the deck area with a beverage in the evening.
The deck area also has a gazebo with a Yucatan woven hammock on a stand to relax after a long day out and about.

KIDDOS: You’ll find a pack n play, baby gate, outlet covers, high chair seat with tray, toys, books, and children’s plates, cups and utensils.

PETS: The Peche Beche is pet friendly because we love our fur babies. The place accommodates a maximum of 2 pets, no exceptions. There is a $100 pet fee that must be paid prior to check-in, or your pet will not be allowed on the property. Dogs must be house trained. Dogs that utilize pee pads are NOT allowed. Your dog and cats must be supervised by you at all times or crated if left alone. You will be charged for any excessive damage caused by your pet. The yard is fenced and if the dog uses it for the bathroom please pick up all waste with bags immediately and dispose in outside trash cans. The home also hosts kiddos and we want all parts of the property to be safe and inviting!

BEACH GEAR: You have full use of 6 beach chairs, a beach umbrellas, beach tent canopy, beach blanket, beach cooler, 6 beach towels and sand toys.

BIKES: There are two beach cruisers and one tricycle in the garage for running over to the local shops or down to one of the beach parks. Locks and helmets of various sizes are included and must be used even when running into a store quickly. The bikes will run off if not locked.

LAUNDRY: The home also has a jumbo-sized washer and dryer, both located down a few stars into the garage that you can use throughout your stay. Detergent pods and fabric soften sheets are provided.

You will have access to the entire home and yard with the exception of the 2 storage closets, the attic, and the outside shed.
It is self-check in any time after 4pm. A code for the electronic keypad lock will be provided the day of your stay.

There are 2 parking spots in the driveway. Please remember that you’re staying in a house that we love so we hope you’ll treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP.

The beach and all the essentials and more are within walking distance. Take a 15 or less drive to all that Norfolk has to offer and hit Virginia Beach in 45 minutes or more depending on traffic.

CLEANING: We make every attempt to keep our home spotless! A professional cleaning crew with years of experience cleans the home after every guest. While we strive for perfection but are all human. There may be times when something is missed or overlooked. If that occurs, please notify us immediately and we will work to have the cleaners revisit to correct the oversite.

STREET TRAFFIC: The street in front of the house is a relatively busy street during peak season and is a walking thoroughfare to the grocery store and shops for the surrounding neighborhood. There may be speeding cars so be extra cautious backing out of the driveway to the street.

LAWN CARE: We have bi-weekly lawn service to help keep the yard looking well kept. If you’re stay overlaps with their service, they shouldn’t be more than an hour.

PESTS: Our home is blocks from the beach and waterways which means that there are naturally occurring insects, spiders, and other pests outdoors. We make every attempt to ensure they stay outside but unfortunately on occasion they may gain entry. If that happens, please notify us right away and we will have the pest control company that we contract with visit. Be sure to keep doors and windows closed (especially at night when lights are on) to limit the entry of flying insects.

CAMERAS: Norfolk City also requires cameras on the parking area and back common areas. There are no cameras in the home and outside cameras are not monitored during your stay. Video recordings will only be referred back to if an issue arises.

NOISE MONITORING: Norfolk City requires that all short term rentals have a noise decibel monitor. We use minut noise monitoring that will notify us and ultimately you if the noise is too loud at the house. Quiet hours are between 10PM – 8AM but the noise at all times should not be heard from outside the house so we do not disturb the neighbors. We like our neighbors and we want them happy!

DECOR: We often update and improve our home. During your stay you may notice new/different bedding, rugs, throw pillows, décor, and possibly furniture that differ from the photos you booked with. We hope it’s everything your heart desires but if there are things that would make your stay more enjoyable, let us know.
